Though early in my career, I’ve been fortunate to explore creative roles that center my passion: helping others shine.
My journey begins in the kitchen with my grandmother, who expressed love through baking. She collected recipes from her Filipino heritage and lovingly crafted American favorites for those around her. Helping her bake was more than a pastime—it was a way of being close to her.
After her passing, that connection stayed with me. Baking became both a comfort and a calling. With the encouragement of my village, I’ve turned that passion into a lifestyle.
At the same time, I saw how overwhelming it could be for creatives and small business owners to manage their online presence. That’s why I created Muthoni Designs—a space where intention meets artistry, whether through dessert or design.
“Muthoni” is my Kikuyu name, given to me by my father. It means rising star—a name that grounds me in heritage, resilience, and hope. It reminds me that we each carry a light worth nurturing, and I bring that spirit into everything I create.
